This was an absolute splendid tour. I can't say enough about how well organized, accommodating, and knowledgeable Sam, my tour guide, and his crew were. I know that Sam is TripAdvisor famous in the reviews, but now I know why! This was the off season in Qatar; super hot, over 108° when I was there. He had plenty of water ready and kept the air conditioning going. I thought getting into the state of Qatar would be difficult; lots of paperwork to fill out, etc. But, it was a breeze and Sam helped with any questions you may have had. And my 9 hour layover was plenty of time to take this 4 hour tour. I wanted to originally take the Discover Qatar tours, but they have limited times and aren't as accommodating or active in your tour. I'm glad I made the right choice with this provider through TripAdvisor. If you're in Qatar and or there for transist, ask for Sam and take one of their many tours. It was incredible!
It was excellence ever experience on my life. Tour guide was very helpful and very flexible with time. We got a chance to sail on Persian Gulf at traditional wooden dhow boat with a panoramic view. Excellent tour!! The tour guide sam was prompt on time to pick us up from the hotel and was very informative about the country and took his time showing us the sights, definitely recommend if you come to doha.
We had layovers in Qatar on the outbound and return trips on our honeymoon. On the outbound trip, we were in Qatar during the day so we did a desert excursion. But on the return, we were in Qatar overnight. So we booked a cheap 5-star hotel for the day then booked this tour with Sam at night when it was slightly cooler outside. This ended up being an excellent idea and would definitely recommend! Spending time at the hotel cooling off in the pool & Persian Gulf then exploring the city at night made for an unforgettable Doha experience! Sam is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He communicated with us in advance via Whatsapp and picked us up in our hotel right on-time! He took us all over Doha, allowing us both to experience guided tours of stops as well as time to roam around on our own. One quick note - instead of the Dhow boat, he took us to an authentic Qatari restaurant in the Souqif. The food was so amazing (and we didn't pay anything extra for it) that it wasn't worth knocking the review down to 4 stars, but I would check with him on your itinerary beforehand. We had already eaten a little while before the tour or else we would have saved our appetite had we known since that food was seriously amazing! Definitely recommend this tour to anyone in Doha for a layover - but if you can, do it at night if you're visiting in the summer!

It was a fantastic tour of Doho in Qatar as it exceeded our expectations. We were picked up at the Airport and dropped off at our hotel which was perfect for our 20 hour layover. The tour itself was one of the best tours I have ever taken and totally appreciate all that our tour guide showed us and our guide name is Shankar. I would request him again if I was ever able to come back to beautiful Qatar.
